Bought the V300 to replace Golflogix that was stolen. I was unable to download courses to contrivance. I called customer service and was told “there must be something incorrect with your computer.” The contrivance never worked so I returned it. Unfortunately I bought a membership which they refused to refund because of their policy.
I contacted Golflogix and received a $150 money off since my first one was stolen to purchsed a new contrivance. I also requested a refund of my original membership fee but was denied for same reason as Sonocaddie. But to my surprise once I bought their contrivance and bought a second membership Garmin did refund the fee. My computer downloaded several courses without issue.
I saved several hundred dollars by returning the V300, have a Golflogix that works fantastic and learned a $32 lesson about poor customer service regardless of company policy.

I bought the V300 in May. This is certainly one of the best golf related buys I have ever made. The graphics and yardage distance are pretty accurate. It is very simple to use. It has all the courses I play. I would certainly urge this to anyone in the market for a GPS.

I’ve just set up my V300 and downloaded the courses I play. It was very simple to do. Since it is winter (where I live), all I could do was look at the course layouts and see the type of information the V300 would give me. I’m looking forward to using it and expect it will help my game. I’m currently an 18 and hoping to go down to at least a 15 handicap. If you’re looking for a golf GPS, I reckon this is one of the best…especially if you want a full course layout view.

I bought this GPS recently. I tried to use this for two golf courses. One is fine, but the information of a couple of holes was not right. The info of second golf course was not showed at all. It should be updated as soon as possible. I am disappointed..
